Find out how you can Make It Possible.Take on this impactful role.Use your expertise in wound and ostomy care as you deliver pre- and post-operative treatment and education to patients and their families. Work independently while enjoying shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, supportive colleagues and much more.Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, and participate in initiatives focused on improving quality and performance, such as minimizing readmissions of our patients.This is a full time 10 hour shift position. Varied start times

Preferred Criteria

• Applicable experience in an academic medical center (includes experience partnering with interns/residents/attendings)
  Masters preferred

Required Criteria

• Bachelors degree in Nursing

• At least4 yearsof acute care nursing experience

• Certification in Wound and Ostomy Care

• BCLS certification

• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills to drive engagement

• An independent thinker who can quickly resolve patient care issues utilizing the skills and knowledge of the interdisciplinary team

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
