• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential from ARRT

Job Details

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity.
• Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to start or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to start.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Schedule Information

• 13 weeks contract length.

Additional Details

• Signed Assignment Agreement required for onboarding.
• Ascension Resume required for submission.
• BLS must be AHA.
• License/Certificate Verification required for submission with current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Ascension Specialty Exam completed prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter in specialty with minimum 80% passing score.
• Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated yearly with minimum 80% score.
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation required for onboarding.
• MMR documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG Titer required.
• Fit Test required for all travelers, preferred prior to start.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination documentation required.
• Influenza Vaccine required during flu season with mask requirement if declined.
• Positive PPD requires negative chest X-Ray and annual TB questionnaire.
• Health Statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Driver's License/State ID required for submission, must not be expired and address must match.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA required with specific timing prior to start and annual updates.
• Varicella documented proof of immunity or vaccination required.
• Tdap valid within 10 years required.
• Ascension Profile and 2 Professional References required for submission.
• Ascension Criminal Background Check Results required for onboarding.
• Ascension EPLS run within 90 days of start and rerun if break in service >90 days.
• Ascension Skills Checklist clinical only, to be completed within one year of start and updated annually.
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
• Ascension Education Verification within 90 days of start.
• Ascension Confirmation of Assignment required upon initial assignment and updates.
• Ascension Employment Verification for past seven years required and updated annually.
