Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Anesthesia Technician to join a dynamic surgical services team. The Anesthesia Tech will be responsible for supporting anesthesia providers throughout all phases of care by preparing and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications in the operating rooms and other procedural areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies prior to procedures
• Assist anesthesia providers during procedures by providing necessary instruments, supplies, or medications
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain anesthesia machines, monitors, and related equipment
• Manage inventory and restock anesthesia supplies and medications
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly; report malfunctions as needed
• Respond promptly and efficiently to the needs of the anesthesia team, including during emergencies
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Patient Types:

• Orthopedic
• Gynecological (GYN)
• General Surgery

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as an Anesthesia Technician (ASATT) or equivalent relevant experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anesthesia equipment
