Responsibilities Accurately processes incoming and out-going SCI visit request Continuously update the SSO database with visit request and clearance information Provide control and accountability of SCI material or documentation Continued catalogue, inventory, and organization of classified documentation Disposal of classified documentation Assist in the preparation for SCI indoctrinations Assist in fingerprinting in relation to background investigation paperwork Provide physical security support through escort of contact personnel and access control of SSC Pac Code 87 SCIF Process in-coming meeting requests while implementing physical security requirements and coordination of meetings held within SCIF spaces Provide clearance verification through DISS/NBIS and other classified network systems Create courier cards/one-time courier letters with appropriate paperwork Process approximately 100 foreign travel requests from employee and contractor personnel Process approximately 30 foreign travel contact forms received from employee and contractor personnel Qualifications 4-5 years of experience Employment details Job title: Security Specialist I Location: San Diego, California (On-site) Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other Industry: Business Consulting and Services Required compliance statement: These regulations require that covered prime contractors and subcontractors take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, and prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals based on protected statuses.
