Role Overview:
As a radiation oncologist, you will collaborate with a team-oriented organization led by physicians who prioritize shared information and teamwork in patient care.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee high-quality radiation treatment plans for patients with diverse conditions.
• Implement quality control standards and ensure compliance with ongoing quality assurance practices.
• Maintain adherence to the highest standards of patient care documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and interpret medical records, exams, and relevant patient data; proficient in conducting thorough medical histories and examinations.
• Develop sound treatment recommendations in a multidisciplinary setting, based on critical clinical and diagnostic findings.
• Engage with peers and administrative teams through effective written and oral communication. Advocate for advancements in radiation oncology treatments and educate colleagues on emerging options.
• Participate actively in peer reviews and safety committees, with monthly Tumor Board meetings.

About Kelsey-Seybold Clinic: Founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey, we operate Houston's premier multispecialty group practice in the renowned Texas Medical Center. We offer top-tier medical care across 65 specialties, featuring the largest freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center in Texas, and the latest Varian TrueBeam and Varian Edge radiation therapy technology at our nationally accredited Cancer Center. Qualifications Required:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• Completed accredited residency
• Texas licensure or willingness to obtain
• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology, American Board of Radiology

Preferred Qualification:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Compensation for this specialty ranges from $385,500 to $708,000, including base salary and bonuses, influenced by local labor markets, education, experience, and productivity. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, and support for equity stock purchase and 401k contributions.
