Phlebotomist Floater at Labcorp summary:

Mobile phlebotomist responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages across multiple sites in Austin and surrounding cities, handling specimen preparation, data entry, billing, and customer service. Requires prior phlebotomy experience, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, ability to work varied hours Monday–Friday within a 6:00AM–6:00PM window, and occasional travel between locations. Position offers float pay, mileage reimbursement, and eligibility for company benefits depending on hours scheduled.

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work at (Austin, TX). In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday will work between the hours of 6:00AM - 6:00PM work hours will vary

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Work Location: Austin & surrounding cities

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Must be at least 21 years’ old
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
