We have an immediate need for a Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist at a leading company conveniently located in Montgomeryville, PA. This is a temp position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The required hours for this position are:

Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Duties Include:

• Accept client and prescription information, including refill authorization from doctor’s offices where permitted by state law.
• Demonstrates the highest level of confidentiality standards in handling patient relations and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance.
• Input client and prescription data into the computer system where permitted by law.
• Complete workflow steps related to filling prescriptions.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls relative to insurance, intake of medical information and conditions, in addition to prescription fill and refill processing.

Job Requirements Include:

• HS Degree or equivalency.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and mathematic skills
• Oral communication skills suitable to communicate with office staff, patients, and other health care professionals
• Quick and accurate data entry skills
• Computer literate
• Healthcare or Pharmacy industry experience preferred
