Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing:
  • Manage multi-state payroll and prevailing wage compliance using top payroll systems (ADP, Paylocity, Paychex).
  • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits accurately.
  • Handle payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees.
• Compliance & Reporting:
  • Prepare and file payroll tax returns and statutory reports.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records for audits and reporting.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance on reconciliations and month-end reporting.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  • Accounting degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of certified payroll experience (multi-state preferred).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in ADP, Paylocity, Concur or similar payroll software.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations , compliance, and prevailing wage laws .
• Core Competencies:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
