Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

  • I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (mandatory).
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • I have 10 years of experience in enterprise integration development, with a minimum of 5 years focused on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • I am a MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or higher); certifications as a MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Platform Architect are preferred.
  • I demonstrate expertise in API-led architecture, system-to-system (STL), and point-to-point (P2P) integrations.
  • I possess in-depth knowledge of integration patterns, SFTP, TLS, OAuth security protocols, and best practices for MuleSoft error handling.
  • I can author and review Technical Solution Documents (TSDs) and architectural design documents.
  • I am proficient in mUnit testing with an emphasis on achieving high coverage.
  • I have practical experience with Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD automation.
  • My advanced SQL skills extend to Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, including optimization and diagnostics.
  • I have experience integrating with Oracle ERP and a solid understanding of its data models.
  • I am proficient in Splunk for log analysis and operational monitoring.
  • I possess expertise in API governance, policy creation, and enforcement via Anypoint API Manager.
  • I also have knowledge of Azure integration services, including APIM, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Storage, Functions, Logic Apps, ADF, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor AI Editor, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols, and Agentic AI frameworks is desired.
  • I have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with robust communication and documentation skills.
  • I have a proven track record of leading technical discussions and mentoring junior developers.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
  • I lead the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft APIs, STL flows, and P2P integrations using Anypoint Studio and CloudHub.
  • I analyze and validate functional and technical specifications, effectively translating them into secure, scalable MuleSoft solutions.
  • I apply advanced integration patterns such as request-reply, publish/subscribe, scatter-gather, content-based routing, idempotent processing, and correlation IDs.
  • I develop and maintain comprehensive Technical Solution Documents (TSDs), including detailed mappings, architecture diagrams, and sequence flows.
  • I implement secure integrations utilizing SFTP, TLS mutual authentication, and OAuth 2.0 protocols.
  • I create robust mUnit test suites aimed at achieving high code coverage and enabling automated regression testing.
  • I optimize API performance through DataWeave transformations, payload streaming, and caching strategies.
  • I establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms using Splunk and Anypoint Monitoring.
  • I manage the API lifecycle through Anypoint API Manager, ensuring compliance with enforced policies.
  • I leverage AI-driven tools (such as Cursor AI Editor, MCP, A2A protocols, Agentic AI frameworks) to accelerate development, automate testing, and streamline documentation.
  • I integrate MuleSoft APIs with Azure API Management (APIM), ensuring policy enforcement and OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect security.
  • I design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments while integrating mUnit, SonarQube, Snyk, and artifact repositories.
  • I collaborate with ERP teams (such as Oracle ERP) to deliver reliable and fault-tolerant integrations.
  • I utilize expertise in relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) while concentrating on SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • I conduct troubleshooting in production environments, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting solutions.
  • I ensure adherence to enterprise security, audit, and governance standards, while integrating Azure Key Vault for secure credential and certificate management within MuleSoft flows.
  • I possess a solid understanding of Azure Monitor and Application Insights for centralized observability.
