Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents
• Conduct discovery and prepare interrogatories, document requests, and subpoenas
• Perform legal and factual research and summarize findings for senior attorneys
• Assist in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
• Manage communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Maintain litigation databases, exhibits, and case files
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of experience in commercial litigation
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Proficiency in Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
