We are seeking a Medical Assistant or LVN to become a part of the La Peer Pediatric Team. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Perform and document vital signs, pulse rate, blood pressure, weight, height, head circumference, hearing and vision.
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
• Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock exam rooms with appropriate supplies.
• Assist with immunization inventory
• Administer injections, draw blood and perform routing specimen collection
• Follow daily/weekly/monthly assignments as directed by Clinic Manager
• Must be available one Saturday 9 am to 12 noon every five weeks.
• SUPERVISING EXPERIENCE A PLUS

​ Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Certification from a accredited medical assistance program
• Strong organizational skills
• EMR experience
• Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PEDIATRICS
