We are currently seeking creative problem solvers that love a challenge in order to service our growing list of clients. We are looking for a locksmith to perform the following tasks:
An experienced level mechanical locksmith position will require the ability to make keys, rekey locks, install locks, install and adjust closers, gain entry, install and adjust exit devices, and troubleshoot most mechanical door problems. 1) Be proficient at rekeying locks including high security and master key systems. 2) Be able to identify keyblanks or use reference books to find correct blanks. 3) Duplicate keys and make adjustments for miscut keys including calibrating your own equipment. 4) Be a good listener and identify the clients needs to help determine proper solutions. 5) Be mechanically minded in troubleshooting problem doors, closers, and exit devices. 6) Be able to accurately bill for service calls when onsite and obtain payment. 7) Accurately record all relevant installation information including equipment used, keys, finishes, styles, and any other relevant information to help with future service. 8) Keep your vehicle and tools in an orderly fashion. 9) Be willing to further technical knowledge and skills through in house or factory training programs.
