Job Description
Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in operating and setting up packaging machinery, ensuring high-quality production output. This position involves working with advanced machinery, such as auto packagers, cutters, and fillers, in a clean and temperature-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up packaging machinery efficiently.
Manage and adjust auto packagers, cutters, and fillers.
Adjust hoses, blades, and add new film and rolls to machinery.
Set orders and runs into the computer for production processes.
Monitor machinery operations, manage and unclog jams.
Inspect products for defects to ensure quality standards.
Connect hoses to tankers and fillers, and climb ladders for machine maintenance.
Operate machinery that fills, cuts, seals, and packages sauce packets and containers.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience in GMP, packaging, and manufacturing.
Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually.
Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual ability is a plus.
Experience in blending and batch mixing is desirable.

Work Environment
The facility is very clean and temperature-controlled, with packaging machinery, kettles for mixing, and inventory management. Though warmer around the machinery and kettles, the environment is pleasant and has a nice aroma. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, work pants, and non-slip boots due to GMP standards

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.05/hr.
