Job Title: Furniture Mover and Assembler Job Description

The role involves moving and assembling furniture within a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will efficiently and safely assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications and the company's quality standards. This position demands manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Move and assemble furniture efficiently and safely.

  • Ensure all furniture is assembled under manufacturer specifications and company's quality standards.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly.

  • Read schematics and directions to build furniture accurately.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.

Essential Skills

  • Furniture assembly, repair, and installation experience.

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and unloading.

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

  • Ability to read and write in English.

  • Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in moving and assembling furniture.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50-60 lbs.

  • Mechanically inclined with experience using tape measures and pallet jacks.

  • Great customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits
