We are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer with a strong focus on APIs and customer engagement to join our team on a remote contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front end development technologies, a passion for creating engaging user experiences, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders in the healthcare industry.

Position Type: Remote W2 Contract
Schedule: Flexible, with availability during EST business hours for two meetings per week
Location: Remote

Responsibilities:
  1. Front End Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications with a focus on delivering high-quality user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
  2. API Integration: Implement and integrate APIs to enhance application functionality and enable seamless data exchange between front end and back end systems.
  3. Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate design concepts into interactive and intuitive user interfaces that drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating conversations to gather requirements, provide updates, and address feedback throughout the development process.
  5. Testing and Optimization: Conduct thorough testing of web applications to identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  6. Documentation: Document technical specifications, API integrations, and development processes to ensure clarity and maintainability of codebase.
  7. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front end development, API technologies, and customer engagement strategies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Front End Web Developer with expertise in building responsive web applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front end frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating APIs into web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible schedule with availability during EST business hours for meetings twice a week.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Node.js or Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles or user experience design.
