Director of Engineering ERCOT - Solar, Wind, BESS

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to play a crucial role in leading electrical engineering efforts across all renewables projects through the development and project execution cycle. This position will be involved in the full spectrum of electrical design for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, BESS and other emerging technologies at utility-scale.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage electrical engineering requests across all development projects.
• Conduct due diligence site selection, feasibility studies
• Provide support for proposal assessments, Designs, RFI
• Ensure excellent engineering solutions by working with key electrical components, solar PV modules, batteries, wind turbines, inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture within the engineering team.
• Support operational facilities as needed.
• Collaborate with Transmission Interconnection and Engineering Execution teams
