Twin Cities Family and Implant Dentistry is a thriving private dental practice located in Valparaiso, FL and we are looking for you to join our team!
Compensation
You work hard, you deserve the best! Starting at $19+/hr. (commensurate with experience & open for negotiation).
This is a temp position; however we are looking for a fulltime position as well. The opportunities are there!
Schedule: 32-36 hours/week Monday – Friday (7:45am. - 5:00 p.m.)
Essential Qualifications: What are we looking for in you?
Dental Assisting/EFDA/Radiology: 1 year
Open Dental (Preferred, but not required)
Dental Assistant - Job Duties and Responsibilities: Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
Dental Assistant duties and responsibilities include:
Preparation of the treatment rooms for dental procedures by setting out instruments and materials
Greets the patients and inquiries about their patient needs
Reviewing medical history and presenting patient concerns to the Dentist
Taking Radiographs
Informing the Dentist of patient status
Assisting the Dentist during dental procedures utilizing four-handed assisting techniques
Fabrication of Temporary Crown and Bridge
Assisting the Dentist during dental extractions and Implant Placement
Surgical Experience with dental extractions and bone grafts
CBCT
Sterilization of dental instruments
Stocking operatories
Communicates effectively with patients and members of the dental team
Responsible for inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Knowledge of OSHA and Compliance regulations
