Job Description

We are looking for a Copywriter for our Global Retail client. This role will be a 6-month engagement working onsite in San Francisco, CA. You will be responsible forcrafting compelling narratives that drive sales and resonate with customers across various platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend creativity with strategy, shaping how a beloved brand communicates with its audience.As a Copywriter, you’ll be the voice of a leading fashion brand, translating complex product information into concise, engaging, and informative copy for catalogs, websites, and other marketing materials. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and contribute to the overall success of marketing campaigns. This is your opportunity to bring your words to life and shape the customer journey for a globally recognized brand. Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop compelling product presentations. Analyze technical product information and transform it into clear, concise, and persuasive copy. Gain a deep understanding of products through observation, examination, and hands-on use when possible. Actively participate in production meetings to capture key product and process details. Adapt copy to meet the diverse needs of customers, marketing teams, and management. Maintain a current knowledge of industry best practices and copywriting trends. Ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines through meticulous proofreading and editing. Track assigned projects and meet deadlines efficiently. Write various content types, including news releases, letters, and instructional materials. Maintain organized product files and up-to-date reference materials. Consider legal regulations related to trademarks, country of origin, and material construction. Must-Have Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Basic knowledge of Macintosh or PCs and internet/e-commerce. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience in advertising or a related field. Experience working on the internet. Proficiency in desktop publishing programs (preferably QuarkXPress) and FileMaker Pro. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.43 to $42.70 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited t,o education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
