We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Janesville, Wisconsin. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliations, and payments. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in accounts payable and a strong aptitude for financial systems.

Responsibilities:
• Process invoices with precision and ensure accurate coding and documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments.
• Enter and manage data efficiently within accounting systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize financial software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for daily tasks.
• Support the implementation and optimization of workflows within the accounts payable function.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to support financial reviews.• At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in invoice processing, account reconciliations, and check runs.
• Familiarity with financial software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data entry tasks accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Knowledge of coding invoices and maintaining compliance with financial procedures.
• Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and support audits.
